Your calculations stay practical and data collection stays optional

Calculator arithmetic is generally performed in the browser and does not require an account. Do not enter names, account numbers, tax IDs, medical details, or other sensitive personal information into free-text fields or messages.

New calculator share links place the scenario after the URL's # fragment so it is not included in normal HTTP requests or referral headers. Older query-string links remain compatible; after their recognized calculator values are restored, those values are removed from the address bar while unrelated query parameters are preserved. Legacy requests may already have appeared in hosting or security logs. Anyone who receives the complete URL, and software that can read browser history or extensions, can still see fragment values. Review every URL before sharing it.

Local browser storage may remember theme, language, display currency, favorites, recently viewed tools, saved scenarios, and your analytics choice. This information remains on that browser unless a feature says otherwise. You can remove it through your browser's site-data settings.

When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, an on-site consent prompt appears before the analytics script loads. If you allow it, we may receive page paths, device/browser information, approximate location, referrer information, and interaction events such as opening or sharing a calculator. Analytics page locations and referrers are stripped of query strings and fragments before they are sent, and calculator field values are not included in analytics events.

Choosing “Essential only” keeps Analytics disabled on that browser. You can review the saved choice below or clear the site's browser data to be asked again. Essential storage used for your settings does not require optional analytics consent.

When you open the currency converter and its saved rates are missing or stale, your browser requests current USD-based exchange rates from ExchangeRate-API at open.er-api.com. The request does not include the amount you enter, selected currencies, saved scenarios, or other calculator values. The provider may receive routine connection data such as your IP address, user agent, and request timestamp. Valid rates are cached in your browser to reduce repeat requests.

Links to regulators and other third parties open websites with their own privacy practices. Hosting and security providers may process routine request information such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and URLs for delivery, abuse prevention, and operational logs.

Retention for those provider logs and any consented analytics is governed by the configured provider settings. We keep only what is reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
